Women's Sober Living Program

Into Action Recovery is proud to announce a partnership with Oranges from Morgan, a nonprofit founded by a family who has experienced a loss like that of our founders. Both organizations know firsthand the heartbreak of losing a loved one to substance use disorder. The Mayo family, formerly of Wilmington, lost their daughter, Morgan, in 2019 at the age of 22.

Deeply committed to helping others impacted by substance use disorder, Morgan hoped to become a psychiatrist; tragically, after a relapse, she died from an overdose. Like the board members of Into Action Recovery, the Mayo family chose to honor Morgan’s life by turning their grief into purposeful action.

In addition, former board member Steve Goodell and his wife, Lois, created the Robbie Goodell Foundation in memory of their son, Robbie, who passed away in 2015 at the age of 21.

Through this collaboration, we are excited to announce the opening of our women’s residence, Morgan’s Sober Living, in December 2026. The Robbie Goodell Foundation played a critical role in securing funding to support this expansion. The home will reflect the same mission, values, and structure as our established men’s residence, Fox Run Sober Living.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supports our work by participating in our annual golf tournament and 5K Run for Recovery. We are also grateful to our friends, family, local businesses, and community sponsors who volunteer, contribute, and help share our mission in so many ways. Your continued support is vital to advancing the reach and impact of our organization.
